Connect your MIDI piano keyboard to your phone and learn to read and play music!
Arosica MusicMaster is a music education application to help users learn how to read music by interacting with their mobile device through their own piano MIDI keyboards. This app is intended to be a real learning app, so that afterwards you can play songs from real song sheets on a real-world piano -- this app is NOT like the many "guitar hero" style games that feature vertically falling notes.*** Arosica MusicMaster for Piano is best utilized by connecting your MIDI keyboard to your phone or tablet. Then, any piano keys you press on the MIDI keyboard will be recognized in the application and youll get feedback as you play the displayed notes. Use of this application without attaching a MIDI keyboard will probably not be very interesting though it will work with the displayed onscreen keyboard... ***Note: No in apps adds or purchases! You can learn to play any single track MIDI file, such as what you could download from MuseScore.comUse any "Micro USB Host OTG Adapter Cable" to connect your phone to a MIDI piano keyboard -- Note that your phone or tablet must be capable of serving as a USB Host and receiving MIDI input in order for this application to function correctly. We really want to see your feedback on the application and what features youd like to see in the next version. Please keep in mind that this is primarily a proof of concept app, and as such may have glitches and latency issues for your particular device. Dommage! Only work with external connected Midi keyboard, so no Play/Stop menu (Autoplay but non stop though), not up to date version, since 2018, so external SDcard won't work. It's a pity, it was promising

Worked for me on Samsung Galaxy tablet connected to Rockjam 88 keyboard.
For those who may have trouble accessing local files. I looked at the app permissions in settings only to find that the storage access wasn't enabled. I enabled it and the app now has access to the file system.

Galaxy S6 sd card folder shows no content so can't use own files.
As as beginner I have learnt a lot puzzling through the Pachelbel and I am enjoying playing. The app works well with my LG G5 and Yamaha digital piano. Would love to be able to jump to a particular bar to practice a section. Would love to be able to select more tunes within the app rather than having to downloading them separately.
This is the perfect piano teacher! Just download some midi files of your favorite songs and play away. Takes some time to understand the keys, and how the app works(no tutorial) but well worth it if you want to learn how to play piano on an midi keyboard using a tablet. Plug keyboard into USB otg cable, then plug otg cable into tablet
